Open Position: General Assistant (Welfare Officer)

The Town is seeking a qualified applicant to fulfill the duties of a General Assistant/Welfare Officer. The Assistant would be in charge of assisting Effingham residents with financial or emergent situations relating to the welfare of the individual.

The applicant must be an Effingham resident and the position requires the individual to be promptly available to assist any resident when communication has been made. This involves meeting with the applicant prior to granting or denying assistance from the Town.
