Board of Selectmen to hold a Public Hearing January 7, 2025

The Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday January 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm at 68 School Street in Effingham, NH 03882 as prescribed by RSA 41:9-a to update the Transfer Station fees.

Permit Fees will be changed from $1.00 to no charge.

The Fees will be new additions to the Transfer Station Ordinance and are as follows:

5-20lb Propane Tanks: $1.00 each

30-40lb Propane Tanks: $2.50 each

100lb Propane Tanks: $5.00 each

1 pound (Coleman tanks, Small Map Gas, etc.): $1.00 each

Helium Tanks: $1.50 each

Foam Insulation Tanks: $2.00 each

Fire Extinguisher: $5.00 each

CO2 Tanks: $3.50 each

Misc. Tanks (Oxygen, Torch Fuel, etc.): $10.00 each

Tires 22.5” to 26.5” in diameter: $25.00 each

Farm Tractor (rear): $75.00 each

Oversized Tires (under and up to 25” loader tire): $150.00 each

Oversized Tires (over 25”): $200.00

Off the Road (250lbs to 750lbs) tires: $100.00 each
